VAEGABOND – The Journey is the Destination

Melanie and Daniel – or Melli & Dani for short – have been on a world bicycle tour since 2019, and since March 2023, they’ve been riding on two velotraum FINDERs with Rohloff hubs. Their name, "Vaegabond", says it all: this five-year journey isn't about checking off geographic landmarks, but rather about purposeful meandering. To make such a long journey possible, Melli & Dani developed a unique model that allows them not only to stay on the road for years, but also to share their experience in real-time on YouTube and Instagram. The result? An ambitious, highly personal, and very work-intensive project.
