Our new color demo tool invites you to play, dream and configure

velotraum is known for its uniquely wide range of colors, from which you can choose and design your dream bike. Over 200 RAL colors plus VT green are available as frame colors. But what does RAL 4001 red-purple actually look like on a bike, for example, and how does RAL 4002 red-violet compare? You can now find out with our color demo tool.

You will find the color change function as a pink button labelled “Colors”, right next to the configurator button at the bottom right for all freely configurable models in each category. You can also access the color demo tool from the About Us page.

When you click on it, a new window opens and you can click through the individual RAL colors in nine different color groups using the arrows. The button is not available for the PAVER and other Edition models. However, you will see in the configurator that you can still choose between seven colors, and our color changer shows you what the Edition color RAL 1037 Sun Yellow looks like, for example. Some people are happy when the choices are not quite so overwhelming – especially since these seven colors are among the most popular in our selection for good reason and are guaranteed to include something for you.

Our developers have managed to transfer the RAL color chart to a sample frame, namely the ELEKTRIKER.
The accuracy of this virtual color chart can of course vary from monitor to monitor, but it is helpful if, for example, you want to compare colors that are close to each other – and it's just fun to play with the tool.

However, even the best digital toys cannot replace the appeal of the real velotraum bikes in our showroom in Weil der Stadt or at our partner dealers. The colors look even more vibrant on the powder-coated frames, which are available in matt and glossy finishes.
In addition, almost all bikes offer a choice of 40 decorative colors for the velotraum decals and logo, allowing you to create bold contrasts or subtle accents as you wish. With the Edition bikes, it's simpler: the logo and decals are black or pastel grey on black frames.

Of course, even we haven't combined every frame color with every decorative color and realized it on a bicycle, which is why we keep our RAL color charts available for you on site.
