Good news for everyone who wants to carry more gear on tour: Our steel fork has been upgraded. The C425-TA is now available for both the Rooter and the Speedster, and it supports a system weight of up to 180 kg.

This gives riders who use 2XL or 3XL frame sizes and/or carry more personal weight more freedom for luggage. On top of that, the new fork is a real visual highlight.

The fork’s stability isn’t just due to the steel material—it also comes from its elegant design. The tapered fork blades provide the stiffness needed to increase the load capacity. Instead of the usual 150 kg system weight limit with our aluminum forks, this one allows up to 180 kg.

In other words: more stability doesn’t mean more material, but rather smarter engineering.
And when a safety-critical component like a fork looks this good, the decision to equip your Speedster or Rooter with it at higher system weights becomes an easy one.
