For the ultimate lighting experience on pitch-dark roads: the curve light assistant from Busch + Müller

Even the best bike headlight has its limits when the horizon disappears around corners on a pitch-black road.

It's nice to have enough lumens and to be able to turn the light in the direction you're looking with the movement of the handlebars, but when you're cornering, you usually tilt the bike, and the more sporty you ride, the more information about the course disappears from your field of vision.

Busch + Müller has developed an adaptive curve light assistant called Leval to solve this problem. A built-in tilt mechanism with electronic sensors ensures that the beam pattern is kept Level.

Just as a gimbal ensures image stability and smoothness when filming in motion, the design of this special adapter ensures that the light image remains stable and even when the headlight turns in a curve. This gives you optimal illumination exactly where you need it. The light edge aligns with the horizon. This ensures greater safety and comfort when riding in the dark.

The Busch + Müller cornering light assistant for e-bikes, with seven ball bearings, sits between the bracket and the headlight and can be mounted either
on the fork crown or on the handlebars. The device adjusts itself when you start riding. The assistant is compatible with almost all e-bike headlights – the only limitation is the weight of the light.

At velotraum, it is mounted with a Busch + Müller headlight (the B + M IQ-XM E also has a high beam function), but it is just as suitable for use with our SON headlights.
With this perfect lighting system for our Elektriker, you can get the most out of the last few percent of light even on winding roads and pedal carefree.
